We have been using these grub screws for our couplings, collets and shaft systems for over 25 years now. They have all the advantages of the hardened black grub screws, but have been surface chromatised by us and are therefore rustproof.

•     Manufactured in black, hardened grade, subsequently chromatised
•     M4 thread / 4 mm long
•     Flat surface (does not cut in!)

Many customers ask us for such screws in V2A quality.

 We do not offer such screws!

Why? Quite simply, anyone who has ever enquired about the hardness of V2A, A2 etc. screws in this size / width across flats will quickly realise that the strengths are virtually minuscule. So what good is a grub screw that doesn't rust because it's made of A2 / V2A, but it slips through very quickly with the hexagon socket screwdriver!  The annoyance is then huge!

For this reason, we offer high-strength burnished, hard/black qualities that we have chrome-plated for long-lasting protection. Trust us, we know what we are selling!
